When living in an old and tired kitchen, it can be hard to envisage your future kitchen and see the true potential of your space. But, there's nothing quite like before and after pictures to inspire your own kitchen remodel project.
At Masterclass Kitchens, we get to see some of the most dramatic kitchen remodels, all achieved by our kitchen retailers across the UK.
We've collated some of our favourite kitchen remodels to ignite your imagination.
Whether you're modernising your home with a handleless kitchen or switching from a modern kitchen to a shaker kitchen, these remodels will show you just how much potential your space has.
Before the kitchen remodel
Dated cabinetry and tan walls gave this country-style property a dated look.
After the kitchen remodel
Padstow Dust Grey. Designed by Frank Anthony Kitchens in Blackburn
By remodelling the kitchen and knocking down walls, the property has been given a new lease of life.
The homeowners opted for light grey kitchen cabinets which open up the space and added wood features, such as open shelving, wood kitchen worktops and exposed beams to maintain the quintessential country feel.
Before the kitchen remodel
The kitchen cabinets required a serious update, and the colour scheme made this small space feel cramped and restricted.
After the kitchen remodel
Sutton Scots Grey and Windsor Blue. Designed by Now Kitchens in Cornwall
The kitchen remodel perfectly demonstrates how opting for light colours works miracles in making small kitchens look larger. The primary colour, Scots Grey, has immediately brightened up the space.
The homeowners have utilised every inch of space by opting for tall units and utilising the kitchen peninsula by adding shelving. To add interest, the homeowners chose a dash of Windsor Blue.
Before the kitchen remodel
This kitchen was in good nick, but the scheme lacked charm and did not reflect the style of the people living in the home.
After the kitchen remodel
Ashbourne Scots Grey and Graphite. Designed by Sigma 3 Kitchens in Cardiff
The space was utterly transformed into a sophisticated, classic kitchen with a statement mantle. The addition of a kitchen island has eliminated the need for a bulky dining table, and the colour combination makes for an on-trend yet timeless design.
Before the kitchen remodel
The old kitchen cabinets seen here were in desperate need of updating, and the dining arrangement was small and not cohesive with the design.
After the kitchen remodel
Marlborough Dust Grey. Designed by Idesign Interiors in Somerset
It's hard to believe this is the same room!
The bigger, taller cabinets offer far more space than the previous kitchen, and eye-level ovens make for easier access. What's more, the homeowners were able to remove the tattered dining set and incorporate a kitchen island.
The addition of the kitchen island offers a space for casual dining and has created even more space for cabinet and drawer storage. We love how the copper handles and wood breakfast bar bring warmth to the space too!
Before the kitchen remodel
This kitchen was spacious with a fantastic layout, but the old units prevented it from achieving its true potential.
After the kitchen remodel
Italia White with Deco Copper Oxide. Designed by Now Kitchens in Cornwall
This homeowner has completed transformed the space, switching dated wood cabinetry to a bright modern design.
By adding a kitchen island, extra wide and deep drawers and a casual seating spot, this space is now a multifunctional, social space.
Before the kitchen remodel
Last but certainly not least is this extraordinary kitchen remodel in Haverfordwest. The homeowners were seeking a glamourous, sophisticated modern kitchen. Needless to say, the old kitchen wasn't doing the trick.
After the kitchen remodel
H Line Sutton Highland Stone with Ligna Farmhouse Oak
This beautifully stylish kitchen is the epitome of modern kitchen design and a far cry from the previous single-tone kitchen.
Modern kitchen design is all about mixing and matching different colours, textures and materials, which this kitchen does perfectly. The kitchen combines smooth grey doors with the wood effect finishes of our Ligna range and metallic handle rails using our Metalix range, and it looks fantastic!
